CEO Tim Cook has once more dedicated Apple to donating help for aid efforts, this time for the flooding in southern Brazil.
Because it did in August 2023 over the flooding in Beijing — and earlier than that in Pakistan — has introduced that it will likely be donating to assist aid and restoration efforts.
Our hearts exit to these affected by the devastating and tragic floods in Brazil. Apple shall be donating to aid efforts on the bottom.

As with all earlier bulletins of help for flooding aid — and earthquakes, and France’s Notre Dame rebuild — Prepare dinner doesn’t go into any additional element. Apple does not remark additional, both, so it is by no means clear what type the help will take, or over what interval.
On condition that Prepare dinner particularly makes use of the phrase “donating,” it is doubtless that Apple shall be sending cash to aid organizations within the space. Nevertheless, it could as effectively — or as an alternative — provide some type of help equivalent to using workers within the aid efforts.
The flooding is in southern Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sul, and its capital Porto Alegre. Extreme rainfall has led to not less than 85 individuals lifeless, and BBC Information says 150,000 have had to leave their houses.
There are at the moment two Apple Shops in Brazil, with the primary opening in Rio de Janeiro in 2014. Neither that nor the second retailer in Sao Paulo have been affected by the flooding.
