Apple is shedding one other veteran design workforce members, in response to a brand new report from Bloomberg. Duncan Kerr, a designer who has been at Apple for over 25 years, has reportedly knowledgeable the corporate that he’ll depart within the close to future.
In keeping with his LinkedIn, Kerr joined Apple in 1999. Kerr will be part of a handful of different veteran Apple designers who’ve left the corporate over the past 12 months. In February, for instance, Apple’s longest-running senior designer, Bart Andre, retired after over 30 years on the firm.
Because the Bloomberg report explains, Kerr was one of many few remaining members of Jony Ive’s design workforce nonetheless at Apple. “With the departure, Ive’s workforce of about two dozen carefully knit staff has been nearly solely dissolved,” the report says.
Because it stands proper now, Apple’s industrial design workforce is led by chief working officer Jeff Williams.
